Mould and demoulding device for wastewater treatment tanks

The general purpose of this extremely complex mould system is to cast a concrete tank type “6PE BAF” which stands for a 6 person house wastewater treatment system

The base as well as the 5 internal chambers are poured in one single phase. The tanks are cast upside down and after demoulding of the inside mould, they are turned 180° with a made to measure turning device.

Demoulding the inside is done in a specific sequence and by means of different techniques:

• Hydraulic shrinking of chamber n°1
• Air vents in chambers n°2, n°3 and n°4
• Chamber n°5 is tapered
• Securing of all the chambers
• Hydraulic lifting of the base frame
• Turning the element together with the outer mould
• Releasing of the outside mould
